Fashion Pet Peeve: Pussy Footin Around

I have a lot of fashion and beauty pet peeves, and one of them...the kitten heel. A kitten heels by definition are shoes with heels that are 2 inches or lesser and the point of the heel that touches the ground is no more than half an inch and the heel is placed towards the end of the shoe.

They really bother me. For a long time I didn't know why, until I was engaging in a Twitter conversation and someone described women who wear kitten heels as "pussy footers". Right then I knew why it bothered me. It's like a half ass heel. In my eyes go big(high) or go home(flat). Either wear a stiletto or wear a loafer or a flip flop. There really is no in between in my eyes.

I'm not sure how other women feel about kitten heels but I know I can't stand them. What are your thoughts of kitten heels? Are you for them or against them? Do you have your own? Let me know!

The Woman Who Cried Slut!

We've all heard of the story about the little boy that cried wolf. Ever heard of the woman that cried slut?!? Well apparently Karrine Steffans better known as "Superhead" is now claiming that she fabricated her memoir about being a video hoe and gallivanting from penis to penis in the industry. Now why on earth would a woman want to paint a picture that she is anything less than a pious woman? That is really beyond me. We are so quick to label women in a negative light, and the worst label that I can think of (next to a bad mother) is a slut or a whore. I really wonder what her motive was. There isn't enough money on the planet that would convince or cajole me into writing books and selling a lie that I'm a hoe. I for one cannot say that I have read either of her books. Some say they are good, however I read novels and self help books, not the memoirs of hoes or hoe manuals. Sorry, I just can't relate.
