DO Ubuntu Orphan Bracelets
"One of the sayings in our country is Ubuntu - the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can't be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality - Ubuntu - you are known for your generosity." - Archbishop Desmond Tutu
Ubuntu Orphan Bracelets
Be known for your generosity and help someone else in need. Ubuntu organization has the Orphan Bracelet Campaign to support orphans in Africa.
"The orphan bracelet is handcrafted by local South African woman living with HIV/AIDS using (lead free) copper, brass and aluminum wire.100% of the proceeds go towards helping mother's and children in South Africa whose lives have been severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. No matter how many you wear, your DO Ubuntu Orphan bracelets, will not set off airport security alarms. DO wear them in the shower."
The bracelets look amazing stacked up, and each and every purchase truly makes a difference! For as little as $15 (the same price as a lipstick!) you are getting an amazing piece of jewelry AND helping a child. Really, I can not think of a better use of $15. PLEASE buy one here http://www.orphanbracelet.org/online-shop/buy.

Belle Noel by Kim Kardashian
"It’s been a dream of mine for a long time to have my own jewelry collection, so it was such an amazing opportunity and experience to sit down and create designs that I feel reflect my personal style, and a collection that is also varied and offers a little something for everyone. You guys know I love my statement jewelry pieces, so I wanted to create pieces that really stand out and make a statement, but most importantly, I wanted to make them affordable for everyone!" -Kim Kardashian

I love the pieces that I have seen thus far and think they would be a great addition to any couture cuties wardrobe. Prices range from $13-$125. I really think there is something for everyone here, whether you're a plain jane or super funky. Things are sweet and feminine with the perfect amount of edge. Totally balanced (which doesn't surprise me since she's a fellow Libra *hair flip*).
You can pre-order items now on pinkmascara.com but they will not ship until March 30, 2011. If you want something I would order as soon as possible I'm sure it will sell out just as anything with the Kardashian name on it does.
Are any you all interested in the line? What are your thoughts? Let me know!

I Need An Accessories Haul...BAD!

Tons of clothes...check!
Ample supply of shoes...check!
Staple handbags and clutches...check!
Accessories....WTF!?!
I really don't have any accessories. I'm somewhat shamed by this. I have 2 bracelets, 3 rings, 1 necklace and 1 pair earrings from Tiffany's and then 1 other pair of earrings. I had a basic Juicy starter bracelet sans charms and I just gave that away. AND THAT'S IT. I really have no jewelry. I really can't believe this is what my collection has dwindled down to.
I own a lot of classic pieces when it comes to clothing and I know accessories really make a difference in an outfit. All the things you can do with just a plain cardigan or even a plain racer back dress.
I don't like buying a lot of trendy pieces when it comes to clothing. I like classic pieces that I can have for a long time and wear a million and one ways. When it comes to trendy pieces I buy (or used to for that matter) accessories and jewelry. And I don't like to spend a lot of money on them (minus my pieces from Tiffany's). So I've been perusing the net looking at inexpensive pieces that I can get to up the anti on my collection.

Love Yourself This Valentine's Day!

If anyone doesn't already know, I'm the biggest proponent of buying yourself something for Valentine's Day (or any commercialized gift giving holiday for that matter). Every year I buy myself something to remind myself that if I don't love myself then no one will. Besides, its yet another excuse to buy something and spoil myself. At least I know the person receiving the gift will enjoy it and be appreciative.
I have been contemplating what I am going to gift myself with this year but also trying to be conscious of my budget. There isn't really much that I need per say, but I still want to do a little something nice for myself. Low and behold I came across the perfect gift for myself. I new I wanted some more jewelry but Tiffany's will have to wait for my birthday or for someone else to buy it for me *hint hint*.
I came across the Valentine's Day jewelry collection at BCBG and I think its absolutely darling, and just what I need right about now. All the pieces come in either sliver or gold to suit your fancy (or you can get both as I probably will) and have nice little inscriptions on them. They have bangles and necklaces with sayings like "You are my inspiration and dream come true", "A friend hears what you don't say", and "No matter where you go, there you are". Pieces are very reasonably priced at $25 (and why I will probably buy gold and silver in each) and a perfect little Valentines day gift for yourself or very close friend.
