I recently went to Trade Secrets and picked up a few nail polish colors after I got a manicure. I only planned on buying 2 colors but when I approached the counter the clerk yelled out "they are buy 3 get 1 free." Needless to say I ran back to the O.P.I. rack quickly. I wanted to try something different and try really dark colors since I generally only do a french manicure or pick a color from a wedding collection. I think they are very in right now and should hold me over the remainder of the winder before I break out my spring and summer colors. The colors I picked up were:
- Lincoln Park After Dark from the Deliciously Dark collection. Its like a purple/b
lack. - Light My Sapphire. Its like a blue/black
- Royal Rajah Ruby from the India collection. Its a very deep red that can look almost black with 2 or 3 coats.
I tend to only buy O.P.I. colors because the colors are rich and they last a very long time. Yes they are a little more expensive than your average nail polish but I think they are worth it. I recommend that if you get your nails done often and you tend to use the same colors over and over, buy your own color and take it with you. This way when you go you will always have your color and it won't be diluted with nail polish removers as many nail salons do as they run out of a polish and are trying to make it stretch.
