Now I know you're wondering what is a SLUT bag, and why is that couture? Well a SLUT bag is the "Single Lady Universal Tote" bag. We all have one, and if we don't we should! This is the one large bag that we carry our life in. It has any and everything we need at any given moment to be prepared for all the things that happen in a single woman's life. What makes the perfect SLUT bag you ask? Well I have a few components that I have listed below.
1. Size: Size is very important. Like many things the bigger the better, however you don't want it to look like luggage. It should be large enough that you can store many things, but still small enough that it appears to be your everyday purse or bag.
2. Closure: It should have a zipper or snaps. There is nothing worse than being on the go and everything falls out of your bag. Especially when you're living the single life. You never know what you could be hiding in your bag. Don't want everyone to see your secrets! *wink wink*
3. Color: Neutral colors are best. Solids work better with a minor embellishments and some shiny hardware. You don't want it to look like a beach bag or the tote you take to the gym. Remember its supposed to just look like your average over sized purse.
4. Compartments: A couture girl is one that is organized. Things should be categorized in your bag and easy to get to. Anything you need should be a pocket, zip or snap away from your grasp. Besides do you want your bottle of water, book, perfume, make up, and sweater all in the same compartment? I didn't think so.
