Couture Review: Pravana Naturceutical Shampoo and Conditioner

Fellow blogger and make up and beauty product maven @FaceMode gave me some samples of products to try. I didn't know I was going to get shampoo and conditioner which worked out great seeing as though I desperately needed to wash my hair last night. I was excited...and then that wore off.

I tried Pravana Naturceuticals Keratin Fusion Shampoo and Conditioner and to keep it brief its awful. If you have color treated hair STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHAMPOO! It will strip every ounce of color that you have out. My hair has been jet black since August and after washing my hair with this shampoo I now can see highlights. My color is completely gone after only one wash. While in the shower I didn't enjoy the way the shampoo made my hair feel.

I was however relieved when I tried the conditioner. It was very rich and creamy and appeared to feel that it would be very restorative to my hair. I was able to run my fingers through my hair without a lot of hair breaking off or shedding. That was a plus for me since my hair sheds profusely.

I let my hair air dry because I wanted to see how the combination of the shampoo and conditioner really worked without any extra oils or sprays. And needless to say my hair looked very stressed and frazzled and fried. I wasn't happy at all.
